It happens in football all the time: an in-demand player takes advantage of the Bosman ruling and leaves for a better deal.

I haven’t publicly read anything from Tymon that contradicts that.

Regardless of ownership, I expected better of a Hull born player and, I presume, he’s also a City fan too.

It happens all the time but I don’t understand why he hasn’t been broadly condemned, especially after having the gall to post the #oneofyourown bullshit when he basically left for a better offer.

Kind of rubs-the-nose-in-it of the City fans, who which, by and large, will be respresentative of the low wages in the city too.

He was ****ed about, then offered a poor deal, that's why many of us believe it's not him who should be condemned.

Had been doing a stand up night in the City. Was staying at Royal Station and asked if he could come in. Dill said no problem Jim to which he replied "smashing super"

Why would he be ****ed about? The Allams well knew he was a good prospect. At the same time Bowen signed a deal, he was rejecting his. Strange that.
The difference being he'd signed with the **** stretford.

One was in the first team/match day squad; the other barely made the bench.

First deal was withdrawn by the club.
Second deal (lower) was rejected by the player.
Invited to make a third offer in the summer (when Stoke's offer was on the table) but didn't.

Just can't understand why Ehab didn't try this ploy with the leading scorer, jointly, in the championship. Crazy. Just no consistency with the Allams.
I imagine Ehab wouldn't pay the huge agents fee to get a home grown player to sign for his hometown club.
Oh it can only be withdrawn as Tymon didn't sign it at the time.

There's only one reason Bowen was offered a new contract and it's to do with a potential sale down the line.

Huge agents fee? Now you're having a laugh. Whilst the agent obviously played a part in the move away, he can't demand huge fees when Tymon was being offered little (comparatively speaking for a first team player on the Championship) in the first place.

There's wrong on both sides. Why don't you see it?

I suspect Bowen is now on more with us, than Tymon is on at Stoke.

And twice as much as Tymon was asking for to stay with us.

Why didn't we offer Tymon something similar?

If you factor Tymons signing on fee into his weekly wage he is on a very very good contract. One that I would have been surprised (pleasantly) if we'd have matched it.

Should have tied up early doors. One that got away. Good luck to the lad.
