    GM Hopkins 28/1 Cambridgeshire

I have always had a soft spot for this horse but that aside he has a terrific chance in what to my eye looks a fairly weak Cambridgeshire. His mark has come down mainly in my view on races where he has met trouble in running.
He won the Silver race here a few years back so course and distance hold no fears.
He rarely runs a bad race so with 365 paying 6 places he rates a fine bet in my opinion.

Good work fellas picking out some big prices for the Cambridgeshire. My pick is Qassem for Hugo Palmer. Ground in his favour and form over further - 20/1. Also fancy Sir Jack Yeats (well actually fancy his trainer - the lovely Ms Holden :emoticon-0152-heart) over at Gowran Park who could make a mockery of this 3 mile handicap off his much lower hurdles mark. 12/1 good luck all.

Borocco wins the camebridgeshire for me. I was so impressed with his win last week and is still a couple of pounds in on the weights and the ground won't be an inconvenience.
    Cheers.

For my usual Saturday plunge it's Red Tornado in the 3:55 at Market Rasen. The 4/1 atm will do fine!

    Three bets today for me:

In the rearranged ayr gold cup Sainted 13/2 each way. Interesting jockey booking who rode the filly last time, has won at the course, has won over further and will handle the ground.

    Newmarket 3.35pm
Carry on Deryck 25/1 each way 8 places. Was runner up in the race last year and whilst is now 5lbs higher promising claimer takes 3lb s off so in effect 2lb higher. Has been running in group company reasonably okay and 2 runs at newmarket has heralded 2 seconds.

At a monster price I could not resist Captain Cat at 150/1 with Paddy Power paying 6 places. Drawn in stall 1 so will have the rails and has dropped down massively in the weights. Has won group 3 races and ok no sign at present he is anywhere near that but has been given a break and last run may have been a warm up for this. New jockey up top and very speculative bet

    Good luck all.
