Williams have launched their "agressive FW33" with a new livery. please log in to view this image Torro Rosso have unveiled their STR6. Not sure yet whether it has pull rod or push rod. They are using Ferrari technology, just like Sauber, so it will be interesting to see how they perform relative to Ferrari and Sauber. please log in to view this image The RB7 has also been lauched, and has a wierd shark fin: please log in to view this image Finally, Mercedes launched the W02: please log in to view this image
The williams livery is only temporary aparently. The merc looks very impressive, it looks like a winner
Thanks for the pics. Rubens was talking the FW33 up all winter saying how aggressive it was, but barring the Toro Rosso it looks the most conservative of the bunch.
That ScarbsF1 blog predicted teams using a solution like Red Bulls. Its apparently exploiting a loop hole meaning they get most of the shark fin benefits still. I'd recommend reading the blog for a more technical explanation
It'll be interesting to see if Renault's exhaust makes an appearance today. The RB7's comes out almost in the floor, see pic 5: http://www.formula1.com/gallery/launches/2011/561.html It wouldn't surprise me if they tweak that slightly so it blows under the car, there are no aerodynamic parts immediately around it so I doubt that's their final solution. I think all the teams are playing their cards very close to their chests.

Great video. It's definitely going to cause problems though, you see the occasional failure with fixed wings, they'll be ten a penny with moveable ones. Still, it's incredibly exciting when it happens, unless you happen to be driving the thing.
For some reason I was expecting the trailing edge to be the one that moved, pivoting around the leading edge, I wonder whether all teams have the same setup as Sauber. Good find Jose.
