I think the proposal of the team bringing most viewers get more cash is right.

But it will be the death of the league. If they do it the FFP is going to need scrapping.

Very fair of you to say in your first sentence, and tbh FFP has been proven to be a load of bollocks(so far anyway).

not that i'm in favour but i think basically they want to split the overseas money which has grown substantially to the position that you finish which is what happens with the domestic tv money. Of course it means the big clubs who always do well will get more but it's a bit more than them directly getting more money a la real and barca just because of who they are

Scrapping the equal share will kill the league and is short term greed.

    This ^

The 'big 6' wanting a bigger slice of the pie would merely cement the divide between them and the rest over time, and therefore ruin what makes the league such a big draw in the first place i.e. it's genuine competitiveness. This is turn would result in it losing some of it's appeal and thus it's revenue generation.

It's completely short sighted and it'll never get through. The veiled threat being that they'll seek to go and do their own thing.....crack on then....which of course they won't......

But clubs are in it for nothing other than to make a profit. This would lead to a European super league where relegation is a thing for f the past. Becoming a version of the NFL

Part of me hopes that happens, take the circus away from the English game and go and play with your G14 mates on the continent, bye then.

People would get bored ****less by it after a season or 2, and those clubs would have pissed all over their domestic chips.

Clubs outside the 'big six' would go on, they would be able to rinse the breakaway clubs for any players they were after.

    please.....

the league is already broken when a no mark club like southampton can hold a prime asset they are able to sell for 60mil+ or when small clubs can pay 45mil for journeymen pros.

This is Scudamore's plan. His other plans include:
    1. Man Utd should be kept in the CL regardless of league position
    2. women should be kept in the kitchen regardless of #ambition

nahhhhhhh.... sky have been proclaiming the english league as all that and a bag of chips for much longer than the mad tv moeny has been in play.

In the mid 00s even 2010 the top 4 were miles ahead of the rest and there wasn't such silly money at the bottom teams and yet sky still rabbitted on about the english league being all that.

The fact is la liga seeing small teams survive around the bottom while the big clubs hoover up the money. The other clubs complained to get more money. In england its virtually a communist paradise as all men are equal no matter how **** you are. Clearly no other league will allow that to occur so england will stand out as this silly thing and theres 20 clubs spending the revenue on **** players and inflating the prices

Like you buying that swansea fell... what's his name... oh you know the spurs reject.

If it want t a PL without the top six I wouldn't expect Everton to be at the top. Would be 7th as per.

Don't be silly. It's the plan to have only 5X European champions in full time.
