Great news! Good lad Morgan. Seeing as that French interview was right about him signing a new deal, I wonder what else has been going on that we are not yet privy to?! And i'm talking about good stuff like contract renewals!
Who's left to commit to a new deal? It's been most of the key members of the squad so far which I think is brilliant news and can only help the team continue to push, but there must be one or two who have less than 2 years left (other than Fonte). can anybody out there think of anybody else that we need to tie up to a contract extension?
Hammond, Bialkowski, Butterfield, Jaidi, Mills, Doble, Dean, Saville, Racine, Holmes, Connolly are the 1s I think out of contract end of season
Its easy to say that, but Adkins wouldn't keep Hammond in unless he thought he was absolutely the best man for that position at that time. The first game of the season Adkins went with Hammond and kept him as captain which might have surprised some but he scored a peach of a goal and has been playing out of his skin ever since. The fact that he has kept Schneidlerlin on the bench highlights this and it definitely is not just because he is the captain, in my opinion.
Good interview on Player. Says how great the confidence is in the squad and how much of a pleasure it is to come in and train and meet up with the other players. Says a couple of other players (unnamed) that have been at other clubs say they have never experienced anything like it. Hopes (but won't promise) to try and score more goals. Just a question..why do Frenchman always sound like a parody of themselves? They always sound like an Englishman pretending to be French.
Brilliant news that so many of our players are committing for such long periods of time! The bulk of our team now on at least 2 years remaining, what is davis' though?
Ahhhh okay thought he had just couldn't quite remember. :/ yeah think you could be right to be honest, seems like he will end up a's the keeping coach!
Great news for the team. Good interview as haven't seen or heard him speak much on player. Enjoyed listening to this.
Hammond starting is testament to his excellent form at the moment. Injuries, suspensions and losses of form happen though, so he'll get his opportunity. His dink for our 4th against Ipswich was class.
I wonder if he has done enough to get first pick, not sure what Hammy was suffering from, but Harding seemed to be suffering too, had to take on some fluid in the second half.
