I thought Farke´s philosophy had found its feet After two good wins in a row, But a third in a week was too hard to repeat So maybe it´s not really so Some seem convinced it´s a matter of time Only, before things pick up speed, And we generate momentum for a climb Which few in this league will impede That seems the height of optimism to me With very little to back it up, Although, at least for one more round, happily We can say that we´re still in the Cup But league form still leaves quite a bit to desire With no real clear pattern of play, Possession and shots on goal, when they transpire Don´t correspond in any way These next two fixtures will show beyond a doubt Whether we can set our sights on high, Or whether the German battleship and its clout Will be left standing high and dry.
