Hold on, is that Crystal Palace moving on I see? I'm surprised those ****ers even managed to get on the bike.
Just you wait til the furrowed eyebrows of Woy are raised from the laughter of him clenching safety before us!
I think you'd have to say #parished What sort of process is taking place when you appoint De Boer in the summer, knowing he will be changing the way you play and your club is set up from top to bottom. The you sack him 4 games in (77 days) and appoint a 70 yr old who looked a doddering old fool in his last job. I mean I like Woy, he's a nice guy and very honorable. He'll try his nuts off for you. But the bloke is ****ing 70 yr old and not a young 70 years old. He is not Bobby Robson or Sir Alex Ferguson who both went at 71 but looked still full of life. Some would argue Bobby was losing the plot a little (although we had started poorly most seasons under him and he always turned it around). I'm not a big fan of really old managers. They can have renaissance in their 60's but I do think at 70 its a big ask. It can be done if you are surrounded with the right people. I'm not sure Ray Lewington and Steven Reid is going to cut it.
