----------------Sczezney---------------- Sagna--Vermaelen--Koscielney--Jenkinson -----------Ramsey------Frimpong------------- --------------Rosicky---------------------- Walcott--------VanPersie---------Arshavin Our Team is looking ****!
Jenkinson might not need to play after all. Johan Djourou and Traore are 50/50's for the game on Saturday. Hopefully Traore pulls through for this one.
I'm looking forward to this one! thats a decent arsenal outfit no question and we'll have our own issues as well so it will be ain intriguing encounter that hopefully will be a great game.
Last season we kind of parked the bus. This season I would appreciate if we were more adventurous as there will never be a better time to play the Gunners as you never know who Wenger could go out and sign in the next week or so. That said I will take a nervous 0-1 victory and hopefully build on that in our coming games.
I think our biggest problem is players gelling. Enrique is sound defensively but hopefully he will go forward more than he did last week from a weeks training with the lads. Kuyt to start over Henderson and that should be a good lineup.
That's actually a pretty decent Arsenal team despite your team-problems at the moment. This is going to be our best chance for three points at the Emirates though- so we need to really give it a good go. I think we're the more likely team to win- but no result would surprise me.
Who would have Spearing and Lucas in Midfield because I would. I just love the way they rush players all over. Adam can have the licence to attack more high up the pitch without worrying about defensive duties. I would line up as following ________Spearing___________Lucas___________ __________________Adam___________________ Kuyt__________Suarez______________Downing
--------Sczezney------------- Sagna---TV---Kosc---Jenkinson/Traore* -----------Frimpong----------- -------Nasri------Ramsey----- Walcott-----RVP------Arshavin * Traore is supposedly 50/50 to be fit for this game. It's a pretty decent line-up to be honest. GK is fine, the backline looks solid with 3 out of the 4 positions our first choice players. The midfield has creativity in Nasri/Ramsey and strength in Frimpong who i think alot of us areh oping will push Song for a first team position this season. And finally the front line is solid, we will have the best attacking player on the field in RVP and everyone knows Walcott and Arshavin can cause any problems. I'm feeling more confident about this game now - i predict a draw with Arsenal looking the better side but Liverpool grabbing the equaliser late in the game.
If Nasri does play, i'll feel slighty less confident. He might be on his way out (According to reports) but he is still an excellent player who can change games. If he does play, let's hope he has an off-day!
Yeah i agree. Although to be honest im not a huge fan of Nasri, he lacks strength and can be easily muted in a game. He needs stronger team mates than Arsenal have that's why i think at city with likes of Yaya he should excell. Either way i say Arsenal will be the weakest they've been for a few years and we should be looking for a good result. Maybe a bit optimistic but we definitely have a good chance tomorrow
According to Sky his move to City is nailed on,If Wenger plays him Nasri wont be trying as hard as usual because he know within a matter of hours/days he'll be a rich rainsoaked Man City player, and an injury means the big bucks move to City will be off.
Hopefully Reina Kelly Agger Carra Enrique Lucas Adam Kuyt Aquilani Suarez Carroll Can't see him playing Aquilani though even though he was by far our best player pre-season
I'm backing Carroll to do well against Arsenal. ---------Lucas--------- Kuyt-----Adam------Downing -----Suarez---Carroll------
