I think he would make more sense than signing Coutinho. He has only been here just over a year though, I would imagine the owners will say no to any bids.
Yeah, because he's going to deliberately play **** until he gets his big move. Unlike Dejan Lovren, who at least waited until he got to Liverpool before deciding to become ****.
yeah odd one... hooked at 6am on a monday morning... trawling the lfc site for a vvd comment to stick an oar in on. kind of a funny fish no question. I'd throw it back mate.
It's about time John Henry went public about the Couthinho/Barca thing, the latest from Barca is that FSG told them we'd sell at £178m(€200), until our owners say it's not true we can take it is, which would mean all the pats on the back we gave them for standing up to Barca were wasted and that they were willing to take money ahead of striving for success, and yep I know he's still here and back in the fold but it's not about him wanting his Barca move it's about our owners motives. Liverpool wanted £178m for Philippe Coutinho, says Barcelona president http://www.skysports.com/football/n...or-philippe-coutinho-says-barcelona-president
Can't remember them being so specific tbh, if theirs any truth in what the Barca president says FSG dodged a bullet, the supporters would have rightly been on our owners backs about it like the uproar when they tried to hike up ticket prices in the new stand.
Says... I call bullshit on the guy who needs to be re-elected as president. Understandable pack of lies but barca fans should see through and sack him off
Nah. I think Barca fans are u happy and their president is coming out with crap about how we wanted too much, money in football is crazy, we're concentrating on the academy, because they got ****ed this transfer window. Remember their presidents get voted in and out at Barca so they do all they can to try and please the fans.
Heard that we were happy to sell Coutinho but Klopp said no because we had no replacement lined up/available... Always a million sides to a story
I heard it was the other way around and Klopp wanted to get rid ASAP. I do think he was a goner if he got Lemar.
Klopp did want him gone, but said no because there was no one to replace him - as we saw fully well last night. He'll be gone next summer 100%
Agreed. The storyline is relatively clear. Conversations were had eatlynon. Coutinho was committed, once Barca started sniffing lfc never deviated from no. The fake bavk injury is clear. The rest is all conjecture. I agree he will go next may 100% but I doubt sincerely any storyline concerning klopp wanting him gone.
Chelsea selling Costa to Atletico for £50m. Good business from Chelsea. A player they dont want thats 28 and already have replacement that's in and scoring.
