These are the obese mannequins being used by emergency services to train for treating overweight patients.
The special 25-stone bariatric mannequins – known as ‘Bariquins’ are being used by fire and ambulance services to simulate plus-sized casualties.
Around 1,000 members of NHS staff were injured while treating obese patients between 2011 – 2015.
Each model costs £4,320, though creators of the plus-sized dummies hope they will help reduce injury to workers and the cost of resulting pay-outs.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue service is believed to have already shelled out more than £20,000 on the mannequins – nicknamed ‘Barry’ by the manufacturers, and universities are also believed to have purchased ‘Barry’ to help train nursing students.
The Bariquins are so heavy they have to be broken into 15 separate parts to be moved around – with the main torso weighing 16kg

Just took a brand new plastic tenner out the ATM examined it spent £1.50 in a shop stuffed the change in my pocket and dropped a fiver on the way home all with in 5 mins.

I lose they **** fivers all the time.

 

3 times this year I've went to an ATM, took my card back out and wandered off without the money.

All at the same ASDA near fuddy's hoose.

1st time the cash was handed in to the tobacco kiosk and I got it back cos I was friendly with the woman at the kiosk and mentioned what I'd done.

2nd time the cash machine swallowed the money back in.

3rd time a bloke ran after me and gave it to me.

Fuddy steals mine.

She's one of those numpties that saves £2 coins in a tin. When the plastic fivers came out she started doing it with them too. The cow goes through my pockets and wallet to pinch them.

 

I was wearing comfy trousers with small pockets , either checked my phone whilst walking eating the chips and dropped it or missed my pocket as I stuffed the change in my pocket to splash some vinegar on my chips.

Considered going back to ask the lady if I dropped it in the Chippy but it would probably be a very awkward conversation .
