The game is at St Mary's stadium, kick-off is at 3pm.

    <laugh>

Saturday, as I'm sure you know <ok>

Can't see anything bar a comfortable away win here personally, away to a possession team who struggle to score is bread and butter for a Mourinho side tbh.

    You never know with Matth.

He makes "match day" threads with **** all interesting facts then never posts on them.

I must say though, this is one of his better efforts.

How do you think you'll line up Chief?

Virgil could be back for us, played 10 minutes at Palace last week and 90 for the U-23s on Monday night.

    No idea how we actually will line up but I would like a currently fit 4 3 3 of;

    De Gea
    Young
    Jones
    Bailly
    Valencia
    Matic
    Herrera
    Mata
    Martial
    Lukaku
    Rashford

I'd back that side to win any game.

Is Blind not playing at the moment then? FF reasons... might have to stick Jones in.

Yeah, he is. He played last night.

So did Shaw briefly but at the moment I'd personally play Young.

When/If Shaw gets fit them he'd be my own 1st choice left back but we'll have to see if that happens.

No idea FF wise, I've not played that for years. Didn't know it was still popular!

I played FF last year for the first time in years. This year I'm not doing it and the words "who got the assist" are banned in my house.

I've seen people virtually cheering at the game after their team has conceded because the bloke who scored is their FF captain. Stupid millennials.

I had to lecture Stan Jr more than once last season after exchanges like:

    "what's the score dad?"
    "1-0 to City"
    "who scored?"
    "Aguero"
"at least he's in my FF team"

I'd stick Jones in as he is a sure thing in our defence at the moment. The left back position is the one area of our defence that seems to be changing a lot, Young played against Everton in our last league match, so id say he is probably favourite to start again.

Bailly and Valencia are the other 2 who are playing in the league regularly, but I know they are more expensive.

Cheers for reply mate but even though he's expensive as a temporary measure I've gone for valencia as I fancy him for an assist this weekend.

    Team for today imo...

    De Gea
    Valencia
    Bailly
    Jones
    Young
    Mata
    Matic
    Fellaini
    Mkhitaryan
    Rashford
    Lukaku

I'm expecting a tight game and perhaps a draw.

    Not that confident then Tel?

Why is that? I would have thought this sort of game will be perfectly suited for you lot.

I see a very very tight game. 0-3 to United (no #jinx)

For the first 85 minutes, it will be scoreless with chances missed at both ends. Then 86th minute Lukaku scores from a corner and 2 goals in quick succession in 91st and 93rd minutes (Martial).

    Wouldn't suprise me.

I just think that we like to play a possession game but we don't really score many at all and think that plays into your hands massively.

The thing is that to get a result the Saints must spring a surprise on JM. He will have done his homework and will be ready for the massed defence or the passing possession game. I can see a cagey first 30 minutes from United.

He won't play both Martial and Rashford like some pundits are predicting. He will wait until 70th minute when the Saints defender facing them is tiring to get the fresh one on hoping he'll cause damage. And if United score late on, they will score more on the counter.
