Good luck today though maybe not so much with your selection in the 3.05 Western Aristocrat, as my only bet of day is Tazahum e/w at 10s in the same race! I rewatched the Goodwood race again and thought the way Tazahum stayed on was taking with the step up in trip today likely to suit and fire in the 4lbs weight swing he has today in his favour over W.A I've plumped for Stoute's second string today!

The Nunthorpe looks very open IMO so I've stayed away thus far!

Suprised with your selection of Casper Netscher Shergar. Has decent placed form but he won an ordinary maiden and doesn't really appeal IMO. Lilbourne Lad as the best form of the field and ran a good fourth in the Phoenix (The best 2 year old race this season I feel) Lilbourne Lad for Me. Doubled up with Masamah in the Nunthorpe which I also agree looks very open... Masamah is progressing very well at the moment and Jamie Spencer is riding winners for fun!

    Well done Shergar

I've been following your tips the last few days and you've had at least 1 winner each day so I've kept following and had £20 win on Caspar Netscher at 6/1

    Cheers guys!

Not sure what was going on with Western Aristocrat, he drifted badly out to 10/1, and then ran like a donkey. I think there must have been something up with him, and punters must have realised before the race, hence the drift.

Glad I steered clear of the Nunthorpe, another example of the sprinters taking it in turns to win, the form never stands up

I would have backed Prohibit, had I been forced to have a bet, though I rarely bet EW, so I saved my money. Hoof it needs 6f on firmer ground to be seen at his best:biggrin:

Good work on Casper Shergy! Didn't back in the race myself but was leaning towards yours and was glad to see it win. How good is Harbour Watch now, having put Casper to the sword with ease previously?! Another Canford Cliffs perhaps, Harbour Watch is my sole ante-post flat bet for next years Guineas at 16s!

Tazahum run well and decent each way returns at 10 but typically Green Destiny who I had a wadge on the last day when he ran like a drain stole the glory today <laugh>

Harbour Watch was paid 2 compliments in the race, The 3rd Burwaz was runner up to him in the race at Newmarket, and he would have been 2nd today had Casper not drifted across him. His form looks very good and thus far you would have to say Harbour Watch is the best juvenile colt by quite some way. Don't forget about Bannock who also finished ahead of Casper at Goodwood, he should be winning at group level soon enough, though I'm not sure he will slip under the radar, with that Goodwood form looking like the best Juvenile form around.

16s is a fair price for the Guineas, but were going to have the whole Canford Cliffs debate all over again, will Harbour Watch stay the mile??

I'd be certain he'll stay Shergs. The way he bounded home up the July course over a stiffish 6f in rain softened ground then finished full of running at Goodwood last day over 6f. Especially with another winter to strengthen up, the trip wouldn't concern me at all and Hughes is confident he'll get it.

I'd bemuch more worried about him turning up on the day in 8 months time than the trip but at 16s I'm happy to chance it!
