The same Plymouth were he scored bucket load of goals?

Is he Premiership quality... not sure. Could definitely handle the Championship- but if Beckford can find himself scoring up in the big league then I'd like to think BWP could.

What fee do we reckon he's worth? I said, tongue in cheek 7 0r 8 mill to a prem side, but realistically he's probably worth 3mill tops

Eliott bid rejected. Pardew made a TAKE IT OR LEAVE OFFER FOR 100K. We said no deal and by the way we will be informing the Premier League regarding your actions. See OS for more details.

So Charlton go to the Premier League to say that an offer was derisory in their opinion?

Surely the club can offer what ever price they feel is adequate for a League 1 keeper with 1 year left on his contract?

    What actions can be taken?

To me it looks as if they are planning to get shot of Harps for someone on less wages. Why on earth else would they want to buy a keeper?

He might want to avoid having to play Soderberg or Alnwick on the bench, since Harper seems to be getting a little injury prone now.

No offence to the Toon but it is typical Pardew to talk about something he's been told not to. That after he has had a go at Joey Barton!
Glad we got rid of him and eventually his no 2.
Reckon Rob Elliot is worth a little more than their derisory offer particularly on current form.

It's not about the bid- it was that the clubs agreed to not mention it and Pardew then does it. Now, because CAFC and Pards have bad blood you can understand that we can (100%) assume it was him playing silly bugger.

I think it's a bit silly to complain in all honestly, but if they had an agreement and twat face has gone back on it, then good for us. Hopefully the punishment is for any Charlton fan to have one clean hit at him (think JA is rubbing off on me).

In all fairness he hasnt named any targets unless it was public knowledge we were after them. We dont need Elliot either though, which is the annoying part. And the offer was a bit crap as well (dont know how much you would ask for?)

All I can say is ....this is typical Pardew. I wonder if he will be still incharge if u lot go down. I hope you guy's don't as I see your team as a sleeping giant, but with pards in charge...it don't look good. Sorry>

So pardew has managed to unsettle our goalie and we are now one goalie surplus to requirements. You wonder about his motives.

I think you may have a point, FHB but I also think Pardew's more like Mickey Mouse than Machiavelli.
