Right. So tonight has just proved that it's pointless scoring goals if you have a defence like a sieve. We all knew where our weakness was when last season finished. So we bought 3 attacking players and a LB that we've rarely seen. Think about that for a second. Whichever way you slice and dice that, it's gross mismanagement.
Klopp needs to take some stick for this one. Henderson offers nothing. The subs should have been made way earlier.
And this pissed me off more than the city match.. .this was literally ours for the taking against the next strongest team in the group. And our midfield and defence were yet again so undisciplined it was worth laughing at. Yes.... I do blame Klopp....all the whining about "get a CB get a cb" ...na...we needed 2 midfielders that know what you do when you don't have the ball.......
That 2nd half was a complete non performance. You accept that you're always gonna have some poor decision making in the final third but the amount of times we could have finished them off but didnt due to poor decision making in the final third was just ridiculous. There's no point even talking about the defending because it's always going to be the same story until there's a change in attitude from the manager and owners. Some of these players need to take a long hard look at themselves if they ever want to win any silverware.
Actually just sick of watching us play. Salah is brilliant going forward. Wiji had a decent game as did Firmino (pen miss aside) but truthfully, a stupid decision to yet again bench Coutinho and play that **** Henderson.
Oh but the only CB in the whole world who would fit for us is a guy Southampton signed from Celtic a year ago, and they want more than £70m for him. I'd love to be a Liverpool scout Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A little disappointing after being 2-1 and a penalty missed, but that's a reminder of how good a side Sevilla can be. We will be a problem for Sevilla in Spain aswell. And errr.......Lovren's sh*t, but we knew that anyway
Not me. It's disappointing, but not a disaster, whereas the word disaster was made especially for the City game.

Seriously.....its not our defence.......there are ****ter defences out there player wise that don't concede goals like we do....look just in front of them when we don't have the ball. No one in our team wants to do the boring stuff that doesn't involve glory...
Well we have 25+ chances and score 2, they have about 5 chances and score 2. I think we can all see were the problem lies.. 1. We can't defend 2. We are not clinical enough in front of goal. Can should have been off in the 50th minute as he was rubbish tonight, that would have given Coutinho 44 minutes to create a chance for our front line. On the bright side we did not lose, and the other match in the group was also a draw

None directly, but he was lucky not to go off. This game summed up Moreno for me, really good at times but an accident waiting to happen at others. His enthusiasm and directness are great, but he's just so reckless in the challenge.
