He's not been in the best of form lately but i have backed De Sousa's three rides at Donny tomorrow. 2:50 - Nobleman's Nest 3/1 4:20 - Lahore 3/1 5:20 - Venturous 9/1 Win Patent and Acca.
4.05. Listowel- A TOI PHIL- 8/1 Has a touch of class about him! Ran well in the plate when not given the best of rides from Cooper and has won in a big field handicap before too. With Davy on board he will be bang there at the end!
For a £6k contest that race at Epsom tomorrow is a corking contest. The Racecourse Executive must be absolutely delighted with the turnout.
Fans of Olly Murphy, the forum’s favourite fledgling trainer, might want to know that he’s recently paid £3,500 for a 5YO gelding out of Chris Wall’s stable – Ataman currently perched on 66. It will be interesting to see what he does with an animal who is 0/15 but has shown a few snippets of half decent form. Another addition is More Than Luck, a 6YO gelding with a chase rating of 98. He cost £14,000 and is 0/9 but a couple of placed efforts suggest he could improve past this. He’s also just got the 7YO mare Hurricane Rita, what a lovely name for a mare by the way, for £5k. This one has won a race (although only 1 out of 12) but has a very lowly hurdles perching of 96. Again, another one who has hinted at greater ability and could prove exploitable off that mark. If the old Murphy boy is half as good as people think these 3 beasts over the next few months could prove profitable off comparatively low ratings.
Add to the list FOXTROT JULIET who is a filly owned by Ollys father Aiden. He has leased it to a syndicate and you can bet your boots he will want to do well with this one. The filly is by four-time Group 1 winner Shirocco, sire to multiple NH Group 1 winners including Annie Power. The dam, Miami Explorer, was a multiple winner and is from an outstanding family. The second dam produced several Group winners including Rule The World.
If anyone fancies picking up a share with Olly (or Willie Mullins for that matter) there's a few knocking about on racehorsetrader.com https://www.racehorsetrader.com/horses-for-sale/
That’s going to be confusing for punters. He’s got Foxtrot Juliet and Charlie Hills has got Juliet Foxtrot! She does look another intriguing animal though for old boy Olly. And I’m sure everyone will agree that both fillies do have lovely names.
