He is hoping he can sell them in the future for more than he paid for them. Maybe, it's hard to understand anything he does or says.
He allowed us to be stripped bare Chazz, after the earlier bollocks interview when he said maybe three or four would leaving, basically those that had a release clause, so he had to put some numbers back into the squad, and let's face it he hardly broke the bank in doing so.
I never said he did. But why bother paying 3 million for three or four players. Why not more loans or free transfers? If I wanted to pocket all the cash why would I spend any money?
Enemies don't usually do nice things for each other so why do people expect the Allams will do nice things for them? It's pretty obvious that their revised business plan is to sell the assets they purchased in order to make up for the expected shortfall when they sell the club at a reduced price. In the meantime they have to re-invest the minimum cash to maintain the club's value by keeping it in this league. Should the club have a good chance of promotion in January the transfer budget will be reviewed and the Allams will decide whether to risk further investment. There's no love lost between owners and supporters, so they aren't bothered about signing all of the players some on here have been stamping their feet for. This comes down to business.
Dunno Chazz, maybe to pacify Slutsky, maybe, as others have said, to ensure that we stay in this division. We can clearly only loan a limited number of players, and it wouldn't really look like he's backing the manager if every transfer was a FAT.
Has anyone heard the interview? I suppose Allam giving Rovers money has nothing at all to do with these comments. I dont believe a few chants of 'we want Allam out' and a few banners would put off any serious bidder.
Exactly, why would they? If I were planning to buy the club, then I'd see any protests as a positive for me.
It's bollocks. I've said it plenty of times but again: there's never been a shortage of buyers. Assem wants us to believe that, but it's entirely untrue. At least two prospective buyers have walked away because of the price being jacked up after a deal was agreed. You can already predict which posters and Twitter users will want to believe it, but it's utter fiction.
Is Neill Hudgell ther Allam's mouthpiece? That has to be utter bollocks. Any prospective new owner would know exactly why there are protests against the Allams and would know how easily rectifiable those issues are. Unless they were planning to carry on in the same vein of course.....
