It was all cheers at 2.50pm according to 5 Live when they announced the City result. How quickly things change. :emoticon-0159-music 'Oh I never felt more like singing the Blues, when Everton.... er, get hammered at home, and... oh, **** it'.:emoticon-0159-music

He's sharing a pair of boots with Sanchez so only one of them can be on the pitch at a time.

And that is why i didnt think yesterday was a red
Exactly the same only difference was the contact and yesterdays contact was down to the goalie not mane
It is either dangerous play or it is not
Like i said - right decision was a yellow cause that is what it will always get.
Not that it altered the result in my eyes as I thought we would lose anyway :)

If you are talking of the Matt Ritchie on Mawson I understand where you are coming from. Difference I guess is Mawson did not go down

Yep, the main difference is probably the lack of contact but with dangerous play that is not supposed to come into it.
I totally get how everyone views it different but the refs are supposed to be consistent - and as I said yesterday I can take the decision as long as it runs to all and here we are one day later and a different outcome.
If you are going to look at each case and attribute individual scenarios I the contact made as opposed to dangerous play then you need to look at intension and everyone agreed that Mane had no intention so today should have been red or yesterday should have been yellow. Either way no consistency

The saving grace this weekend was the Utd result - really didn't see that happening. Now what Garilc ? Said yesterday really becomes prudent - if we can beat some of the teams we should be beating (no gimme's in this league) yesterdays result does not become a disaster, for games in 3 points off top and we are the only ones who have played two of the expected challengers.
    Not a disasterous weekend :)

The only reasons to be annoyed with that ref imo was his attitude to taa.

He was going out of his was to get the kid.

Look at what he did. Told salah throw in was in wrong place so salah the ball to taa. Within 2 seconds he was over warning the kid about time wasting 12mins into game!

He then took that as his excuse to book the lad in his next foul...

Now... the guy was pernickety most of the game and not letting it flow but..... BUT he clearly saw the mane foul and it was high and I thought from camera angle it was shoulder but the reverse view may have been what ref saw. It was a red all day... come on guys.. clearly mane has to go for ball but with a high boot? No he had to go.

    Luckily keeper seemed ok.

Klopp reaction was awful. Formation terrible. Putting on ox with 2 days training into that did him no favours.

Can to cb with Gomez on bench was all bollox

Henderson though... wow... just wow. Stinking.

How can such a great side with a brilliant fraud manager lose to City?

    I have only seen replays.

Going in with a flat foot, studs showing makes it a nasty challenge
