Frankel's form as a sire in Europe since 1st September reads:

    27122221202113131

Three more runners today in LADY FRANKEL at Chantilly and ROSTROPOVICH and LIGHTENING FAST (brother to yesterday's winner Lightening Quick) at The Curragh.

Taareef virtually bolted on the walkway to the track.
Lady Frankel got rid of Boudot on the walkway.
Does anyone know whether Ribchester gets worked up and chews the bit everytime? Never seen him in flesh before.

Had a bet on Renato Sanches to be MOTM today. I still cannot believe Clement got him there on loan. 8/1 was too good to miss.
I dont do Sky so reading the scripts but sounds like he has made a good start!

The sun is now back out at Chantilly and shining on Satono Diamond, who looked really good in the pre-parade ring.

Amazingly trading at 11/10 on PMU as I type... just ahead of Cloth Of Stars at 17/10.

Stick, Sanches was disappointing with Bayern so they were probably glad to loan him out, although after yesterday's performance against Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich might already be regretting the move. Can a player be recalled from loan at any time, I don't know? Sanches should do well with Swansea. Clement, of course, is well-connected with the German club.

Digressing, are things looking up at Loftus Road? I dread to set my hopes too high! Last few years have been the worst for the club that I can recall, personally. And I feel sometimes that I go back to the days of St. Jude's. :emoticon-0100-smile

Oh, good luck with your bet on Sanches!

Anyone know what the Japanese were doing? The star had to ease up to let the pacemaker pass and then they turned the race into a sprint up the straight - nullifying their proven stamina advantage.

Bolger reckons (of Verbal Dexterity) "He is the real deal and he is as good as any of the two-year-olds I have had." That includes New Approach?

Was worth a try, was never going to be straightforward but the two that let me down weren't the ones I was worried about

Things are looking up Swanny. The mercenaries have now all been shipped out and the bargain buys we have bought in have hit the ground running. The biggest positive is the team ethic as it now seems like a real group of battlers who are prepared to work for and with each other. Keep it quiet but we have probably the best goalkeeper outside of the Premier league and Massimo Luongo is really flourishing now that he has a workhorse in Josh Scowen to free him up.
We are not the finished article yet but at least we dont look like the relegation fodder people had has tagged as.
