After being left out for a year Gutierrez has been called back up to the Argentina squad for two friendlies in September. <diva>

Sadly Colo has not been called up which is a bit baffling because Argentina have a crap defense. <cry>

Meh. As happy as I am for Jonas at least it means we don't have to risk Colo getting injured in a friendly

Eh, if I was going to leave one out it would be Guteirrez. Coloccini is the dog's bollocks.

I wonder if they'll try Mascherano at cb like Barcelona do now...

Congrats to Jonas though! Hope he plays as a winger this time.

All their centre halfs are pretty highly rated. Garay just moved from Real to Benfica as part of the Contreau deal. Otamendi is making big waves at Porto and very highly thought of. Then you have Burdisso at Roma and Demichellis at big spending Malaga as the older centre halfs. I'd rate Colo higher than most but I'm completely biased! I think they are a good bunch of centre halfs to be fair so it must just come down to the coaches choice thankfully! Think that Pareja is a centre half too but couldn't comment on his abilities.

How they're so bad defensively I'm not sure but it can't be easy squeezing Aguero, Messi, Tevez, Lopez, Pastore, Di Maria, Higuain into one team! Haha.

The quality of forwards they have is terrifying! Messi, Aguero, Pastore, Tevez, Di Maria, Lisandro....compare that to Rooney, Young, Bent, Defoe......sigh.

Aye yet everyone in this country can't understand why we don't keep winning world cups, hates Capello, think we should win every game etc etc. We've got about the 8th best squad in the world truth be told!
