According to the BBC Pardew has confirmed that a bid for Robbie Eliott has been made as he looks for an extra keeper following the departure of Fraser Foster to Celtic (Loan). It appears that Eliott will be third choice behind Harper & Krull. I guess the wages offered will be significantly higher, but would be surprised of RE would want to play in the reserves up in the North East. Thoughts, please.
We don't want a keeper.. we need a LB and striker first! How's Bradly-Wright Phillips doing for you guys?
BWP has a not for sale sign printed on his shirt.........unless you have 20 mill left off the lolly you recieved for Carroll!!!
BWP has speed, agility, great awareness, he is lethal poacher who will punish dizzy defenders all day long.....he will score over 30 for us this year, i'm sure of that.
Think Pardew/Ashley thought they were signing Robbie Elliott http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robbie_Elliott to solve our LB problems. edit: beat me to it Steviemac
He's only played 2 games and neither Stekelenburg nor Vorm were available at the time, wouldnt say he's a regular.
Robbie must be worth the same as Casper so that'll be £1.5m thank you very much and with Pardew in charge of the buying we'll probably get £2m. They broke the mould when they made Pards thank feck for that!
Well do you think he'll be a good addition to our squad? Because we are looking for a pacey/skillful sort of striker
BWP would grace any premiership side. He's no Clive Mendonca and is probably worth 7 or 8 mill to a premiership club.
I assume you're doing that thing we do with Perch when we oversell him in the hope that a clueless scout is trailling these forums for ideas
Is this the same BWP that I was watching at Plymouth? He may grace the Premier League reserves league but even then it would a poor grace
