I agree with the Elmo comparison but not the point of it. He and Elmo both put a **** ton of crosses in and get slated because some of them are inevitably wayward. It leads to goals though. It used to be the same with Brady who people would say couldn't cross or take free kicks. Again because he did it a lot and some were inevitably not perfect. I bet not many can admit they used to say that now, but there was a large number on here. Not many players ever get praised for their crossing on message boards. Same with a keeper's kicking.

Do I really have to spell it out ? Big Sam says that he tells all his players not to read social media stuff, but they do, as do their friends and family and it does no good at all. He admits to being effected by it himself after some stuff his family read about him. To believe that players do not hear or see what is being written about them is a bit naïve to say the least.

When you say some, what you should have put is nearly all. Brady's crossing was far superior to Elmo or Grosicki's. People moaned about Brady when we had him on loan, he was always used wide right by Pearson and people thought he was a greedy ****.
People moaned about Brady's crossing until the day he left. When was the last winger we had who was praised for his crossing? They never are.
