Just watching on the news they've raised a staggering £10m for charity, from a very modest original target of £5k when Jane originally started the charity following her terminal diagnosis. A million miles away from football, but what an amazing achievement by her family. I'm sure she'd be stunned and proud.
Until recently, I ran lots of races for various charities, including Dove House on a couple of occasions, but can honestly say running for the Jane Tomlinson charity made me try a little harder knowing what a unselfish and inspirational woman she was. I remember her husband started a couple of the races. It's great to see the charity growing in her honour.
