Coutinho is in their banner at the top of the transfer page despite there not being a single update about him today (or for ages)
They'll be nothing new about Coutinho today, Spanish Deadline is tomorrow so if its going to happen it'll be tomorrow.
Yeah noticed that this morning, they'll manage to shoehorn in some ****e that gives them an opportunity to mention Maureen of man Yoo before the window closes.
Today is the deadline here. tomorrow that of Spain. Conflict?. I think the deadline here should take precedent .
Not negative...just pragmatic Ok, I accept if we keep Couthino the squad is stronger in the attacking positions. If we sell him (which I still think we will) and don't replace him...it's weaker imo. We'll soon find out. If we were serious about not bidding on VvD way back in June then it is shocking that we haven't found and bid on another CB. I would accept it is stronger if Klopp brings Sahko back into the fold though....that would be interesting and necessary imo. Sorry, but scoring goals wasn't our problem last year.....keeping them out was. We have signed one LB for 8 million and 3 forward players! This does not address our problems. That's not negative, that's factual. Everything can change before 11pm though
See, Still no mention of Liverpool. BREAKINGSanchez deal in jeopardy please log in to view this image David Ornstein BBC Sport Manchester City's bid to sign Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez looks to be over. It is understood that a conditional agreement was reached in principle between City and Arsenal for Sanchez to move to the Etihad Stadium. The fee was £55m, plus £5m in add-ons. But it depended on Arsenal first securing a replacement to fill the gap left by the 28-year-old. Their target was Monaco winger Thomas Lemar and an agreement was reportedly reached between the clubs for a fee in the region of £90m. However, it is thought that the 21-year-old France international decided against the move. City are currently not prepared to resurrect the deal by offering a player in exchange or more money for a straight cash deal. Barring a remarkable last-minute turn of events Sanchez, who wanted to join City to be reunited with his former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, will stay at Arsenal. McCunty crying into his pint: Everton still searching for the quality striker Ronald Koeman wanted to help fill the gap left by Romelu Lukaku's departure - no joy yet. Everton have got so much right in this window but this was/is arguably the key deal to whether they can make serious progress. @Tobes
Poor Monaco being torn apart. Sky talking about how psg are getting around ffp with it being a loan.... yeah, and? Chelsea got round ffp by buying **** tonne of young players beforehand, loaned them out then sold them to make net spend low. If psg cant afford it, UEFA will pick it up when they review their finances so don't know why everyone getti so worked up.
This. Klopp clearly doesn't want him and wont play him, so whats the point in keeping when there is money to be made. Put it this way, the money made on Sakho could now be put into another bid, perhaps Lemar or VvD (should ever get over that crap apology)
I am also thoroughly annoyed that we haven't bothered signing another CB if the VVD deal is dead. I don't think we have done enough to suggest that our defence will be significantly improved. Apparently PSG have signed Mbappe. Could potentially look for some last minute deals with them so that they stay within FFP.
When was the last time we had a good window? In hindsight Mané made last summer good, but most people were unhappy last summer too... And the year before that.
