Is there any chance that chelsea could nip in with a last minute 18m bid for llorente ? I dont think hes actually signed anything yet ?
Well done the manager for getting this done although a stop gap until next season the way things are at the Club we can only take one season at time in any case. Not since Walter Boyd have we had such a high profile player
It would be better for us to ignore Chelsea's offer if we are to get £12m plus Janssen for Llorente. Bony, Abraham, Janssen and Ayew as emergency striker aren't bad options up front at all then.

Whilst he hasn't set the World alight at Spurs, at least he would have some PL experience, When I have seen him looks big and powerful striker. a little raw but another who would be eager to prove another club have got it wrong with him. I think he would be a good signing, just think he would fit us. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_Janssen
I see we have signed a Benda. https://www.swanseacity.com/news/young-keeper-benda-joins-swans-u23s-squad
We're got a team of back-ups right now Valley, Abraham was brought in to back-up Llorente. We thought Llorente would be backed up by Bony with Abraham backing up both while demoting Ayew to back him up on the right. Now Llorente is on his way out so Abraham is either backing up Bony or replacing Ayew and Bony has no true back-up. Siggys replacement, Clucas, will be demoted to back-up our new rent boy, Sanchez, or it could be Fer. Mesa backs-up Leon who is backing up whoever is at the bottom of our midfield diamond. Now Sanchez is here it means either Clucas, Fer, Mesa, Britton or Routledge loses his place on the bench. In defence we are woefully short. Bartley was considered back-up to Mawson and Fernandez, who in reality should be back-up at another club. His injury has sidelined him promoting his back-up, VDH to a starter and we have no back-up to cover him. We have no back-up left back and an ageing back-up at right back who is backing up a player who should be a back-up not a starter in the first place. I don't understand why we're concentrating on padding out a very congested midfield when we need players in attack and defence. We need a Right back and a left back, we need an extra CB to cover especially as we are playing three at a time, we only have three CB's standing for the foreseeable future. We need two strikers if Llorente goes. Abraham will be accommodated regardless, either as striker or on the right, dropping Ayew to the bench, big mistake. If we only get Bony then he will have no cover from the bench as Abraham will start on the right. To substitute Bony we'll have to juggle around several players up front to move Abraham in as striker. What happens if Abraham gets injured? Don't matter how pretty we look in the middle, if we cant score and cant defend we're gonna lose far more games than we win. Won't matter how good our rent boys are either, we'll still need attackers and defenders to win the games for us.
