A direct attacking player who can run at opponents & score? Not for us. I think we need tidy another midfielder that offers nothing going forward personally.
Meh we shall see, I have watched a lot of him as I watch La Liga probably more than the Prem and, whilst he was promising, he really hasn't kicked on at all. Also don't think he will be able to deal with the physicality of the league, reminds me a lot of the Juanmi signing
Agreed on the physicality - that would be my one concern - but he's oodles of talent and needs to go somewhere where he's playing more consistently than AM.

Oh yeah definite ability there and looked like a future world beater when Atletico first signed him. Hopefully if he joins he can start to realise his potential. I was very excited when we signed Juanmi and was convinced he would be the new David Silva so clearly have a great eye for a player.

Really, why? They can't register anyone so if they loan him out/sell him they will do so because they are happy with the players they currently have.
No idea, it's what I have been told. I am guessing they think if they get Costa done they can go to Jan without a Vietto replacement.
Seems strange, they effectively have the next 4 months to find a replacement, I guess it tends to be harder to sign players in January but that is the only thing I can think of if they are insisting on getting a replacement first.
