    I dread to think of the 'money' that is going to be spent by the top 5 or 6 clubs in England. Not to mention how much the likes of Barca/PSG etc have spent/are going to spend!! <yikes>

    BBC are reporting we've rejected a £12m bid for Oliveira from Swansea. I can't see a championship side going higher?

    We have been pretty bad with strikers .
    Hooper flop
    Wolfswinkel flop
    Lafferty flop
    Vaughan flop
    Grabban scored a few and we made money on him but for most flop
    Naismith flop
    Jerome great value and scorer of that Wembley goal
    Nelson potentially better than all the others given a full season

    We have wasted 10s of millions on strikers to cash in and throw some money at another one would pretty much piss on the embers of our season before September.

    I'd have Chrissy back in a heart beat, I know he had his off field issues, but he's matured and become a proven goalscorer at this level. Would be a great signing IMO.
