If Ehab has anything about him he'll reject every offer for Grosicki. We've seen what he can do at this level. Most assists so far, 2 goals... it could be the difference between going up or not. Go on Ehab, do that last minute **** up again like you did with Salibur and fudge the deal.
I don't know why anyone would give two ****s about Turbo leaving, how many good games has he had - one? And that was in his last on-pitch appearance before the transfer deadline. Tells you everything you need to know.
I think the hope is that if he's here once the window shuts, he'll buckle down and show us what he can do. Slutsky said it himself, "he can win games for us on his own" who else do we have in the team who can do that? If we do sell him id like to see us go out and buy the best winger we can to replace him, like for like, quick and direct.
As the post above yours said, his stats speak for themselves. That suggests he's done more than just one good game. Even if he was ****, we only have two wingers at the club so it's a worry.
If you wind back 3 or 4 weeks on this board the overwhelming feeling was 'he's a disgrace, not interested, no end product, the new David Beresford - sell him'. I fail to see how a great performance the game before the window closes changes that.
Not fussed about Grosicki going, he is good on the counter attack but other then that he is limited. Musa prefers to play on the left flank or as a lwf, add to that a loan of a development player or a lower league player as back up and we will be fine. We have many options if he goes: 3-4-3 - works well, Musa, Campbell, Dicko, bowen and Toral can fight for places up top 4-3-1-2- has cover from the sitting three to allow full backs to push on to give width, got three player who can play in the hole 4-2-3-1 - Musa, AM, bowen/Toral would link well with a lone striker. I think Grosicki will be allowed to leave only if we bring in Musa.
Burnley pulled out of a move to them before he came to us, I think he even had a medical, I can't see him going there to be honest.
Grosicki for me, although a completely different style of player, I see as similar to Diame. Someone who proves from time to time they have the quality to win a game when they feel like it, but is rarely motivated to do it. I've said before if Grosicki stays, I feel he'll have a similar goal tally as Diame did for us a couple of seasons back.
