I think LFC decided that after their apology aboout VVD they couldn't really submit an offer. That would have made a mockery of their apology which included a statement that they had dropped their interest. It looks that we would get Ox (after salah) this summer and keita next.
When Arsenal bid, Monaco were adamant he wasn't for sale as they'd already sold a number of others. Only way to get him now would be to offer a huge price that probably isn't worth it. Shame, but I don't think anyone else will be getting him this summer either. So go back and try again next summer might be the way forward.
Look at the time Klopp's been in charge He clearly values attacking football and players over defence and defenders assessing the players he has bought. Philosophy is as long as we score more it's alright if we ship a few in the process I would not be surprised if we don't make a defensive signing in the next 24 hours
Never normally watch Sky Sports, but I have to say this - that girl in the grey T-shirt next to Jim White has a cracking pair of knockers.
Wolfsburg expected to sign Divock Origi on season long loan from #lfc Liverpool remain in talks with Arsenal over £35m+ deal for Oxlade-C.
I don't mind Ox as a signing but not if it's him in and Couthino out with no other signings. If we keep Couts, we at least have options.
