Hopefully you will now have your prescription? go into Vision Express and ask about Contact Lenses, just tell them you want to try them and they are normally pretty helpful.
Contrary - I know one person who had it a few years ago and went blind due to their **** up - these happen few and far between mind!! Another of my friends says she loves that she can see further away without needing any glasses now - however, she needs reading glasses for close up stuff! I've worn glasses since I was around 20 (turned 42 earlier this month) and am just used to it now. Only time my eyes are a problem without my glasses is when I play footy! Snooker is a pain in the arse too mind!! I've had 3 eye operations and have a medically required injection in my eye every 2 months - ****ing hate it!! But I am grateful that, as a diabetic, I haven't yet gone blind (which I would have 30 years ago with the same symptoms) and I will get to see my kids grow up!
