Quite possibly one of the most meaningless fixtures in our 100 year plus history <doh>

This competition should be euthanised, quietly or otherwise.

The only point of interest I can think of is how many occasions during the match will @baraettmattesvensson visits the karzi.

It's a better run out for the kids than U23 matches <ok> .... Jacko said recently these this type of games were useful and I wouldn't argue with the Skipper :)

I'm not bothering. Given the competition, I will be surprised if we take 300 tonight.
People will save their ammo for Oldham on Saturday.

All round to Elf Mansions to watch GILF Station & drink his fridge dry <cheers>

That's more or less true of every game we've played since January 2014.

I saw us lose at Shrewsbury and draw with Oldham away on a Tuesday, I refuse to go to these games even if they're at home.

Crawley putting on a bit of pressure now according to Sky.

George Lapslie is on for Ben Reeves (just a regular substitution as far as I know, not an injury)
EDIT: Johnnie Jackson now on for Aaron Barnes. 68 minutes gone...

Impressive if true. We'd have barely got that many in if this game was at the Valley...

EDIT: 0-2 now, George Lapslie has scored a really decent one apparently :1980_boogie_down:

PLeased for Lapslie. He's always been a real grafter whenever I've seen him.

A Charlton fan. Well done the kids. Heard Sarr and Konsa were very solid.

weren't fans around the country boycotting this competition last season due to the involvement of "Big Teams" under 21's involvement.
Is the boycott still in place for this season ?

Seems we will get a fine for changing all 11 players from last Saturday.

I love the Skipper BUT I think we have all agreed that the only place he can play in the league team is Centre Mid.... there is talk of skipper replacing DaSilva on Saturday at Oldham... big mistake in my opinion ... yes, we do not have cover at LB so play 3-5-1-1 with Sarr coming into a back three and Clarke & Novak as the 1-1 or move Solly to LB and play Dijksteel at RB

Playing Jackson as a full back in the league would not be a good idea.
