Booker has a lot of managerial jobs up at the moment from store to department managers these are up and down the country but no management jobs in Hull at the mo ... if you want a job full of graft you could try their warehouse positions ...
It's first time I've had chance to sit and read through the replies. In the past week i've been contacted by Wescots regards to a job. But don't want to work in finance. In the past few weeks I've applied for a fair few jobs. Mainly admin, factory and warehouse.
I think self employed is the best way to go if you can think of something you enjoy and/or are good at. I'd avoid anything like a shop/pub/takeaway where you have to be on the premises all the time If you do something that people phone you up you can do anything and be anywhere until you get a phone call.
Just a little update. I've been going through redundancy with my current employer. But I've got a interview on Wednesday for a company for a Marine company who manufacture Ribs Boats.
