Yes there bloody well is. Tell you what mate. 95% of that squad have ran through ****ing walls this season. support that. Being **** doesn't equate to bad attitude. You just backed Grayson, you know he's just took over and you know it's going to take a long time, so understand that as you're supporting them. Don't be so quick to aply the same terminology we've applied to the jobsworths from previous seasons. 'These arse rapes' you talk of will be many for a while. But not for the reasons of the past so we should try and separate them. When you take everything into consideration it's the nature of the beast really. Time mate. Going to take a long time. One thing is for certain. I'd rather we took our chances and be **** than have Short put more money into the club. Cause he'll go nowhere till he gets it back.
So we did lack effort today. Grayson knows and is on to it. Lets give him time to correct our problems. A lot of them will be out of the door by the end of the month hopefully.
I looked at the team prior to kick off and thought it was far too strong for Barnsley. There's enough in there to be competing well and that what worries me about the result. Last week was a very good Leeds team, this was Barnsley.
I'm not worried, it's a good team on paper and Grayson is a capable manager who I expect to sort out our issues. If we lose the next game by a similar margin with little to no improvement I'll be getting worried.
Can't remember the fans getting on the players back much last season. The fans give up just like the players did last season. You say you not turn your back on going but didn't you stop going to matches last season? Fans can do whatever they won't but it's coming to a head now.
The position we were in Baz i thought it was a no brainer he was the man for the job, mind he probably would of turned us down.
I missed games last season due to work commitments, as does anyone employed. I never missed a game through choice, although I openly have admitted on here that it felt like a chore and a duty rather than a desire to go, I went, and I stayed till the end and I didn't jeer the team.
I agree they have ran through brick walls but they didn't today. Looks like they give up just like the pricks over the years. Like I said when the news broke short wasn't selling iam not going back and stand by that. Each to the own tho
The whole team were below par to-day, the manager will sort it, give him time, this is a massive undertaking. 10 years miss-management and bad luck have left the club in sorry state, but lets see where we are in the league come the January window, survival is the aim this season.
We should be solid enough on paper but the mental weaknesses from last season are clearly still there. Grayson was never going to be able to get rid of that negativity in just a few months. The fans are fully justified in venting their anger on the players though. Over 4000 going there is amazing support given the state of the club, and when the team throws the towel in after going a goal down it's just not acceptable.
Doom mongers out in force on twitter. More poison in our fanbase than what's in that squad. That's for sure. ****ers.
Bit of a shame today. A win may have fooled some people we were ok with the players we got. Are we now going to push for 3/4 signings? We have more points now after 5 games than we did before Keane took charge years ago.
