My old man who didn't have too a high opinion of the brightness of some of the Yanks he came across in the war always said a Yank sailor asked what a lert was as they were about to go on one to demonstrate his point.

 

It was, as pointed out, a rather poor attempt at a joke Kemps.

Anyone know if it's Toral as in "Joe Coral" the bookies or Toral as in "The OK Coral"?

 

Or even "Toe-rahl"

 

I thought Slutsky could have made his Bolton substitutions at 60 minutes than at 80 to give the new players more time.

I never said that actually. I just think it made sense, particularly if he wants one of them, like Kingsley for instance, to start. And with the injuries we get I wouldn't mind giving some extra rest when it's possible.
