    Arghhhhh

PULIS CONFIRMS SWANS INTEREST IN CHADLI

West Brom announced the signing of Oliver Burke earlier today, and that could pave the way for Nacer Chadli to join Swansea.

The Belgian reportedly had an argument with Baggies manager Tony Pulis, placing his future in doubt.

"What was said was said and you move on," Pulis said of the incident.

"That's the way I've always been in life. Swansea are interested in him. I would say Swansea and West Brom are a lot closer than Man City and West Brom [regarding Jonny Evans' potential move to City].

"But it doesn't hide away from the fact that both parties have to lean and lead to one point where both are happy and it's not happened yet."

We are in a panic, no doubt about it...I thought Clem would be much stronger than this and demand funds for his targets. He is just like the others bowing down to what Jenkins wants......We must be the only premiership club that sells it's best players when we don't have too and never have a replacement signed before we sell. I understand Div1 & 2 doing that but not a premiership club ffs.....

Tomorrow will give us a much clearer situation on how we will roughly go this season.....Palace and us are about on par or we were on par so we will find out tomorrow just how strong we are against the bottom half of the premiership....

Sorry to put this on this thread, But my son, makes his full debut for Garden Village v Llantwit Major in the Welsh league div 2 match tomorrow. He is 17 and a keeper so a big achievement for him. He is buzzing and I am ****ting it. so from 2.30 tomorrow my mind wont be on the Swans till the end of their game. One proud Dad sitting here tonight.

He is more than good enough but as a keeper you don't normally mature until a bit older. So proud of him to play at his age.

    He'll be fine.

My boy played for Fareham Towns first team at the same age, they are in the Southern League. Played against Havant & Waterlooville (yes them buggers that beat us in the FA Cup) in a Hampshire Cup match calm as cucumber before the game. Kids love this pressure.

    Good luck to him tomorrow!!

I played against Havant and a lot of other clubs up there when I was at Staines Town. Great standard of football and some excellent players in those leagues. I wasn't in goal though, I was a striker, so take one chance and I was a hero, they all forgot the 6 or 7 chances I had missed.

Yes I agree although he'll get his knocks the keepers these days are more protected than in the "good old days" I notice David D'Aurias' still putting on his boots , he's bloody ancient how's he doing ?

There are some very good teams, that pay good money to players. Funny enough the lower league teams give a decent match day money. My lads left Fareham to go to Alton, division lower than Fareham but better set up and the coaches are the ones he was with at Pompey.

I do the seconds as well as the 19's. have brought him on for the seconds when the boys get last as his communication is fantastic, even if his legs have gone a bit. He is the fist team manager and has brought the squad together well and looking a tidy side to be fair. the guy puts everything into every game. he don't half sulk if we don't win though.

I know Dai well, played with his cousin. Funny part we had a pre season friendly down Pembroke, Swans hadn't started the season and Dai came down for the day but ended playing as we only had 12 men. The opposition were looking at him saying he's no amateur, we had to keep calling him Richard and he was Dai's twin brother. He was a very good player.

Agree, Dai had a decent spell at Scunnie. There was another lad that played at the same time with Dai, Mark Wilkins. He was a great player but his problem was disciplin, he had constant runnings with Yorath, he eventually kicked him out of the club in the end. Used to turn out for us sometimes on a Sunday, he'd turn up with a can of lager in hand but boy could he play.

Dai was a big mate of Alan Davies, he spent many a Sunday afternoon in the Coopers.

He didn't have a bad career mind throughout the lower leagues. He hits some screamers in training. Great to have that knowledge with a young progressive squad as we have at Village.
