I don't know why Pep buys a goal keeper, because the ones he has don't save shots. He's better putting a midfield in goal and playing goaly if ness.
Jota is better than all of them, his position is out wide if he has one but is normally all over the pitch, he's worth the same as Clucas possibly more IMO
It's the same old story isnt it. Other clubs can agree a fee, terms, medicals etc and announce within 24 or 48 hours... not us though.
Strange? It's mental. It's the only area where we're absolutely fine (once injured players are back). Unless the Toral deal has fallen through?
It's stop him scoring 93rd minute winners against us... maybe that's what we are doing. Identifying players that always score against us, it's a good tactic.
Anybody else think there could be something in this signing players really late in the window to purely save the allams money, as in if we signed 6 players beginning of June at 10k wage per week a player. We would be spending roughly 250k per month extra whereas if we sign them all in last week of transfer window they save around 500-750k in wages? Just putting it out there as wouldn't put it past them at all.
But we'd have to spend more on the transfer fee considering we're desperate and we've raked in a ****load of money.
I think we're leaving it late and they'll be a flurry of bids that go in for players and all be rejected. We'll never know the true amount bid bit it allows the Allams to say we backed the manager in trying to get players in but our bids were rejected but at least we tried. It's all gone quiet on the winger from Oxford since we put in a low bid and same with zahore from Cardiff but at least we put in bids even if they were way too low to be accepted
