Serious question to Liverpool fans, you played some great football under Houllier, Benitez and even Rodgers... where does Klopp rank amongst those Liverpool managers?

I'd put him below them all, currently at least.

 

That's because you're a Man Utd fan Tel, no matter what we do you'll think we're ****. It works both ways as well, Jose's bus tactics and all that "but we've scored 8 goals in 2 games" means **** all Tel, you're still **** and Pogba is a nonce.

The gegenpress and heavy metal football basically meant running around like headless chickens until you break at Christmas.

you would have been better off swopping Evans for Houllier if you mean great (to watch) football.As regards your comparison we did play some stunning football up to Christmas last year under said Klopp but clearly need improvement in both defence & midfield.
However i feel i may be giving this thread more thought than it deserves considering it's author.

 

Ok. So Houllier did well to a point but some poor signings meant that we struggled in the league and when the cups dried up it was time to go, played some decent footy at times under him.
Rafa did a great job and the footy was good, he built a very good side but then wasn't backed by the cowboys in charge and it all went wrong.
Rodgers got lucky that he had Suarez but was out of his depth and was the wrong man for the job.
Klopp has us playing good footy at times but we have issues at the back, time will tell if he's to sort this out but we were playing the best footy in the league at the start of last season.

Klopp at this point is 3rd in that list. That's down to the fact that the others won stuff.

Rodgers had an unbelievable year of football

Klopp did half a season.

Liverpool fans are saying they have issues in midfield and defence but hasnt Klopp had like 3 summers to rectify this now? Why are these problems not being addressed?

 

We are ok in midfield, we did try improving there with Keita, defence would improve with VVD. Getting the deals done or getting viable alternatives is what is frustrating at the moment.

 

So we all agree Klopp is the flop on Merseyside
