Jordys' contribution was more about what he did off the ball than what he did on it, I always enjoyed watching him, but he obviously was a bit of a lightweight and doesn't fit in MoPo2's plans, I am sure he could do well elsewhere, but may be drop down a League and help a team to promotion?
He's too good for the Championship and I doubt many could afford his wages. Maybe a recently promoted team like a Brighton or Newcastle. Or back to the Netherlands with a top team there? Lazio were interested earlier in the window but assume that isn't coming to fruition with the Hoedt situation, as the two negotiating parties would have been talking already.
Should offer him to Liverpool for about £30m. Gesture of good will, no hard feelings, that sort of thing.
I think it's more likely that he'd return to the Dutch league than drop down a division - can comfortably compete in the top tier!
Definitely. The raw physicality of the EPL may not suit him too well, but he could play top flight football in Holland, France, Italy or Spain imo.
Why is it, whenever I associate myself with a player on this forum, they don't work out? Might just leave my avatar the same in case I jinx anyone else.
Anyone in mind? we've gained Lemina, but I see him as a wanyama/Morgan replacement. Definitely room for an AM!
For me that leaves us with a bit of a hole in CDM having lost Harry Reed and JWP now playing offensive (and rightly so), really only leaves us with Romeu, Lemina and Davis and again like JWP Davis tends to play attacking not CDM. An injury to any of those three would majorly stretch us in that position.
