With Krul and Harper, won't Elliot realistically be 3rd choice keeper? Obviously the pay is good, but I wonder gow likely it is that he overtakes the other keepers there? Especially if/when Pardew gets sacked
I'm sure Wenger can afford to keep his Highbury home and get something up on Tyneside. I hope Robbie doesn't go. He is still number one for me. However, Sullivan is a good keeper and very vocal so all is not lost if Robbie does leave.
The club now have a ceiling on players wages and they are not going to break it for anyone. Robbie is out of contract at the end of this season so a decision was made that if he did not sign a new contract he would be sold as they did not want him to leave for nothing . It has been rumoured that he will be the no2 as Harper is carrying a persistent injury and if he is getting 8 grand a week good luck to him.
