    Agreed.

We need movement and vision to match his. Davis, Tadic, JWP, Redmond, Boufal, Romeu, Lemina, Long - if we can get combinations of those guys to operate on each other's wavelength, then Gabbi will have opportunities he is currently being starved of.

Remember Spurs at St Marys last season? I'm not sure their squad is massively superior to ours, but the way they moved the ball about, created space, & left our defenders chasing shadows that day, it often seemed like they had an extra man. No wonder Harry Kane gets so many chances in a side like that.

It did look as if Katharina had no idea what it was and was looking for the instruction manual. Nice to see her there though.

Yeah, we need to be playing the ball on the ground. Lobbing crosses high into the box won't work against most sides at the best of times, even if our FBs were a bit better at delivering them.

There were a couple of times though,:when we retained possession well round the edge of their box. We just need to get better at doing that, because if you do then eventually spaces will open up.

Watching the replays FF made three superb saves and on two occasions his dozing defence let him down.

I think people see what they want to see....once an idea is formed that a player is poor it is very hard to regain that ground. Every commentator I've heard has mentioned Frazer favourably....as you said, he was left exposed on two occasions and made initial saves with no luck. For their 2nd goal the ball came back off the crossbar...he was an inch from putting the ball over and getting applause for his quick reactions.

Only seeing what you want to see? Does this mean also that you could view a player in too much of a favourable light? I do get your point though. Next time I will try and not berate FF as a clumsy oaf! Lol

I only saw highlights of yesterday's game so I can't really comment, but last week Fraser was superb, showing excellent command of his whole area. I would also say that from what I saw Fraser was unlucky to let in two yesterday, especially the second.

Yes, it does mean that you can see players in a too favourable light. A hero gets away with a lot....takes a long time for us to notice he is passed his best. We are all a bit like ocean liners....can be very hard to turn us. :)

Hernández is an extremely good poacher. Without him there it would have been 3-0, more than likely. Maybe 3-1. They weren't the simplest of tap-ins.

The Yoshida incident is more and more a penalty, every time I look at it.

Absolutely. The defenders can't complain..they were playing the odds. Had no choice with that mighty striker bearing down on the goal, so tried to hustle him out and take the chance that a penalty would be awarded. And then there was always the chance that we would miss. Rolled the dice and lost.

Yes. You can often turn an individual opinion around, but once a significant number have a similar opinion, especially if their opinions as a group have been respected in the past, a herd mentality starts to take over, and it takes an age to turn that juggernaut around, even if that group opinion is proven as incorrect.
In my individual opinion, Frazer is a very good keeper indeed. And he does have the odd weakness. And, as Dusan might say, that's it.
