Prediction League - Burnley (H)

So after that.... ermm, hiccup the prediction league is as you were. Everyone predicted a home win so GLAMorgan stays top with 6 points with a pack of bluebird_nat, sayer77 and Rhondda54-DJ close behind. I don't think we should be too worried by that result, just one of those things. Perhaps more cutting edge up front is what is needed and most of those goals were preventable.

Anyway onward to next Saturday, where the Bluebirds face the difficult away journey to Turf Moor. The Clarets haven't had the best of starts - turning round a two goal deficit against Watford and losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace but the trip to Burnley has never been an easy one. The last time City won at Turf Moor was 7th May 1988, a 2-1 win Recently we have had draws with them, so my guess is a 1-1 draw.

A couple of Notes. Firstly I'm probably heading up to Scotland this weekend, so after Friday the thread will probably not be updated. I'm swapping the Bluebirds for Scottish First Division, Ayr vs Falkirk at Somerset Park. God it's brutal but dead fun

Secondly, a question for ThaiCanary. On your Fun League, you have a auto updating table I think. Is that HTML? And do you know anything about automatically updating tables in Excel. I've been doing a bit of research but with little luck. Cheers

Like you say, hopefully, just a hiccup. I'm staying optimistic though and going for a 2-1 city win.

 

We should be used to sides getting results by now. If we win at Burnley its still a great start.

Back to winning ways. With the loss of eagles and one or two others, I think they have lost their atacking forces.

 

0-1 although I fear another mirror image prediction. Hope MM rallies them and has learnt something.

Can't see MM letting this blip become an issue...focus and determination are key!

give me Cardiff to win 3 - 1. i picked it last game but just got it the wrong way round. Doh!

 

I can see this as a score draw, I'm going for 2 - 2 , but would be glad to be proved wrong with an away win
