4-2. Even Nelson, playing for a manager who hates him, can't save us from our embarrassing defending, tactics and team selection.

Maybe starting Oliviera would of made a difference and possibly not Rusty

I'm not sure why DF had to make s many changes, but that's his choice and in truth I wasn't expecting much from Villa.
Now going out and thanks for all the posts/comments and sticking to posting football related stuff.
I'll be at the game on Tuesday, so should be able to make a few posts during the match.

Mark Rivesr on radio Norfolk just said Russell Martin has been dreadful and is no longer 'fit for purpose'. If many of us on here can see that why can't the coaches <doh>

What do you expect with Martin starting and leading the team. No doubt everyone will focus on Jerome starting and Oliveira not. When the really crazy decision is starting Martin and dropping Maddison. I don't know what hold Martin has on the club, but I fear the clubs loyalty to Martin will cost us again this season.

I really don't think I'm going to waste more money on Charlton. If this is his selection for a league game, god knows the state of the side for that game!

And our German coaches are all of a defensive mindset?
    Could've fooled me.

So, after an abject defeat on the road (where have I seen that said before :emoticon-0112-wonde )
it pains me to report the binners are joint top with 12 points from 12.

It was ever going to be wasn't it? Villa on a losing streak and NCFC to play them away from home. Work in progress for us. I'd like to see the table at Christmas when we have played a few more lighterweight teams before becoming too upset. Onwards.

    Positives:
could have been 6-7 without Gunns performance.
    Josh scored.

*would have said: Another goal for Nelson, what a striker! - but that means nothing to DF going forward. So it's just advertising to a rivals, which is bad.

I agree, of course, but weren't Villa joint bottom before kick off?
How much more 'lightweight' can you get ?

So we're not allowed to question the Coach's team selection now eh?
FFS I'm not calling for his head just yet but what's the point in contributing to a forum if you're not allowed an opinion?
I don't want to fall out with you Dave, or anyone else on here for that matter, but would suggest you refrain from the patronising posts and slap heads.

Oh and just because the set up we have now worked at Huddersfield doesn't mean to say it will work here. I hope it does, but the jury's still out and Farke's decision to go with that starting eleven does beggar belief and I bet there's more agree with me than not <ok>

3 games does notnecessarily point to anything, position wise. Look at Ipswich :)
