Does anyone know if it would have been possible to have a charity's logo on our kit against Bolton last weekend, and could we do so this weekend if we don't have a sponsor by then? Or is there some rule that states that you must stick with one sponsor all season if you put them on your shirt? If we could have done so, we should have. I suppose it's another example of ineptitude on the part of those running the club; they missed out on an opportunity to build rapport with the local community and the fans. More importantly, the missed out on a very easy way to support one of the many fantastic charities they could have chosen from.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought it was a good/nice idea. As for us being a charity, I know how you feel!
In all the excitement has there been any mention of sponsorship? If not how do we get this excellent idea to TF so he can get his 'community' focus off to a great start?
