I had a vasectomy after our third child and it was a piece of piss. I also got circumcised as an adult (I did have reason for this), and that certainly wasn't a piece of piss.

I hated having a vasectomy. I could feel the sensation of the doc pulling my tubes like a bell ringer. During the procedure I was suffering a pain which could only be described as a dull prolonged mild ache from a minor kick in the balls. Not agony but irritatingly enough to make me feel sick. The doc also says to my wife sitting in the surgery 'do you wanna watch', she says 'aye gan on then!' I says 'YOU ****IN' WHAAAT????' She proper watched the whole procedure, up close.

I was alright afterwards. Straight to work. It was just a dull winded feeling in the stomach, similar to what you get from a kick in the balls, made me feel quite bilious. I got that sensation from my first bollock. My second gonad was much less uncomfortable and I was surprised when he finished in comparison. The blood in my semen was alarming for the first few weeks afterwards mind.

    She's a witch . . . . burn her <devil>

Mine (both bits) were on Monday November 16th, 1992 . . . . and I went to work (a presentation at Lumley Castle) the next day.
The major operation that this was felt uncomfortable and like a dull ache, but it wasn't painful at all . . . . the worst part was the blinking barber beforehand who was shaving my knackers whilst talking to me (and looking at me . . . . not my nads)

I couldn't of described it any better than that mate spot on mine was funny though the lass who served me petrol in our local garage was the nurse that day as she had just started her new job and the surgeon was my daughters boyfriends dad and also there were no operating theaters available so they did me in a tiny box room full of files and folders I also got a strange look when I asked to keep my cords in the little bottle they were in so I could put them on the mantle piece .

I have to say I loved mine and made a fair bit of money out of it.

I sold bedside tickets to all the people who'd always wanted to see me take one in the nuts.

They had to put a video screen in the waiting room for everyone who couldn't get in <laugh>

I remember that. Watched it in the Odeon over at Milton Keynes. Got a good crowd in that night. Above average anyway.

    Fair play mate!

My mate had to get his done 3 times and each time he got an infection, ended up transporting his gonads round in a barrow :) funny for us at the time but the poor twat went through agony. I think I would have given up after the first failure.

I also worked with a Geordie who had the reverse operation done, that poor twat actually flew offshore but was medevac'd after a could of days when his stitches burst open. OUCH!!!

Nah mate, it was a Saturday so time and a half, plus job and knock. Back then you had to grab the O/T when you could.

Mind you, it took me an hour to climb up 80 feet of scaffolding and even longer to get back down when the job was done.

I had an operation to make my nob 12 inches long, it was too uncomfortable walking around with a 16 incher.

It's a bit weird at first mate and expect a bit of discomfort. As I said, I went to Boots the Chemist as they were offering a free trial at the time, they test your eyes to find your prescription, then obviously match up the lenses then you have to be able to put them in and take them out 3 times before they sort of accept that you are able. Now for anyone, like myself at the time, putting something foreign into your eyes is weird and not easy, plus I was blind as a bat without my reading glasses on so that made things worse. But I managed and now it is just second nature.

I must admit though, my eyes were pretty sore on that first day, but they were Ok in the morning and then you just get used to putting them in and out quite quickly. Now with them 30 day lenses it's just once a month so no worries really.

Where are you going for them? I would advise you stay away from Boots as they are expensive, Vision Express do a better service and even throw in free eye tests mate.
