At least we have the future England RB coming through this season... Probably saved us about 600mil trying to find the right player over a few seasons.
Done his hammy on Monday, could be a grade 3, waiting for scan results, if it is he's going nowhere in this window as he'll be out until October at the earliest.
Yup i know i what i meant to say really is we got fookall chance of getting any dosh for him when hes injured ha ha
seen, can't remember which one of you two it was. Obviously it wasn't tobes as i would have been subjected to his northern banter when i disagree with him (3.2.1... i'm awaiting for some personal put down now. You're a good lad though tobes )
If Klopp doesnt have the packet of wrigleys spearmint gum it would take to buy him you can bugger off... Ron said we wont let him go cheap ha ha Seriously though i cant see where he is worth 5-10m nevermind 25-50m that has been bandied about he is ****e..
The issue I see with Everton is trying to get a nearly brand new 11 to just click. I've always thought signing too many players isn't the greatest idea. 3 or 4 quality (max) per window imo.
Plus all this money being spunked at Everton surely means finishing in the top 4 is a must? Still miles off imo. Can't even see them breaking into the top 6. <awaiting the bullshit long-term project comments>
Not really mate the Lucky money has covered a large chunk of it...ok another Striker and a LCB on top we will have spent a few bob but all you can do is try to improve bit by bit like LFC and all the other clubs try to do..
Premier League club Liverpool have announced that England U20 star Sheyi Ojo has been loaned out to Championship outfit Fulham for the entirety of the 2017-2018 season. This is the third time since Ojo's move to the Anfield club that he has been shipped out on loan to the second-tier, having previously spent time on a temporary basis at Wigan Athletic and Wolverhampton Wanderers. A product of MK Dons Academy, the exciting winger has featured 13 times for the Reds first team team since his debut versus Exeter City back in January 2016. Ojo is being targeted by the Nigeria Football Federation to play for the Super Eagles, and ex-Dream Team VI coach Samson Siasia attempted to include the player in his squad for the Olympic Games without success. The 20-year-old suited up five times for the Young Lions at this summer's Fifa U20 World Cup. Odds update: Liverpool leap-frog Tottenham as 7/2 favourites to sign Riyad Mahrez Liverpool lead Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez, according to the bookies.
I see that Dortmund are after Luan - who was on our radar. We seem to be initially linked with a lot of players only for them to end elsewhere. I appreciate that a lot of it is agents drumming up interest but there does seem a reluctance on our part to ever make a decision on a player....and when we do, it's already too late, the player has already agreed to join someone else or their value has quadrupled. Perhaps it's just my perception based on continually being frustrated at not buying some players......and not just this year either.
I think this perception comes about because the media link as many players to as many clubs as possible all the time in order to get clicks. Add to that the fact that fans are constantly screaming we need this player, that one etc. It then seems like we're in the running for a whole load of players that the club has never shown any official interest in. Whether they should be is a different matter and down to personal preference.
