Henriksen was anonymous, McGregor didn't cover himself in glory either.
Diomande from the bench cos we don t have anyone else, his first touch is a 5 yard pass.
Strengthen in the right areas and we will be top 8

Well that was a wake up call for some! We are miles off I'm afraid but at times I don't think Slutsky helped himself! In that second half nothing was working through the middle as the movement was shocking so in those situations you have to rely on the wide players, so what slutsky did was have left footed Larsson on the right and right footed grosiki on the left who offered zero width as wanted to come inside all the time! It's so obvious they should have switched!
As much as I like young players been given a chance, Clarke is miles off this level I'm afraid and aina was poor tonight defensively again! God knows how he got MOM!! Hector was much better then him! Henrickson was none existent and we desperately need Stewart back there, Dawson looks his age and Bowen I'm unsure about. Need new faces of quality not just new faces!!

Did it ****. There was nothing in it. Abel just didn't fancy it and did the usual South American thing to try and con the ref and failing that, get off the pitch.

    Clucus off to West Brom.

That was a bit of a reality check tonight, not that we really needed one. Lots of positions need strengthening but most of all our midfield. You wouldn't build a pub team around henriksen

Why is Villa losing an upside? Makes no difference to us. Why anyone should revel in our most successful manager having a bad time is a mystery,

You will look a bit daft if he is out for a while. Dafter than usual that is.

Could have been worse given the way they played in the 1st half. Just didn't seem to know what to do with the ball and nobody wanted to run with it. 2nd half a lot better. Grosicki looked a bit greedy at times, kept and lost the ball when he should have passed. Wolves players were a right tough bunch compared to ours. Definitely need more players. Think I will dread every game now instead of looking forward to it.

Wolves look like serious contenders for promotion , we don't

Not surprising really considering our lack of signings , our squad is very very thin

Despite the hysteria, it seems consistently documented by observers that they looked a bit good. Indeed, with the money spent (and how much did they spend greasing palms behind the scenes too I wonder) so they should, but no sour grapage from me.

The main bastard of the Championship is the hemmed in 46 games. Let's see where they are after 30 of those and winter's been.

    Hang on...

Did I watch the same game as everybody else?

Wolves didn't look the slightest bit special. Our defensive frailties gifted them goals but otherwise there was little in the game.

Their squad is bigger and better equipped but we weren't far off them tonight. We just look worse when Campbell goes off - Diomande isn't a striker. If we had a couple of extra players, we would have drawn that game. Bowen is looking a weakness defensively but he wasn't terrible by no means.

I couldn't believe the amount of times their players went down clutching their head regardless of injury. There were a few times their players went down and they checked where the ball was before deciding if they would stay down or get up. In truth, they managed the game brilliantly - even if it is anti-football.

Well, we got a footballing lesson, we were a bit better in the 2nd half, but hardly won any second balls all game. They passed it much better than we did, and Neves is some player. Henriksen as other said is totally ineffective, Clucas was OK, but we were over run in midfield. Can't understand why Slutsky didn't change things and match them up by going 3 at the back and 5 in midfield. Grosiki is really pissing me off his attitude stinks. I can't understand why some a slating Aina, as I thought he had a good game.

Team improved dramatically with the introduction of Meyler. The game just seems to pass Henriksen by with him almost a spectator.

I think the MOM award votes were cast before Aina completely ****ed up and gifted Wolves a free run and shot on our goal, which Dicko comfortably converted. ****e defending at any level - even Sunday league.
