Geniune Man United supporter not here to WUM by the way, are you fans happy with Obertan joining the squad, to be honest i didnt want him to go as even though we have plenty of wingers, i thought this guy had potential and still do, i personally think he will settle at Newcastle and could be a great summer signing for you guys, thoughts??

P.s Whats the crack with Mike Ashley and the 35million for Carroll? Get that well spent on new players!!

  2. No chance of Ashley handing us much more cash mate.

And i think he could be a great signing and a bargain. He looked excellent vs Arsenal.

He had a decent debut for us, he has a hell of a jump on him and he played really well behind the striker. However when he was stuck on the wing he seemed to drift out of the game a bit. If we can get him playing consistently in one position then it's safe to say he will be a top class player.

Looked quick, skilful and enthusiastic. Just that last one is enough to get fans to like him, we don't ask for much. Any of the first two are very good bonuses and mean he will be a brilliant signing if he keeps it up.

Good player. I honestly think his poor performances at Man Utd were down to the pressure and a lack of confidence. Perhaps he started off poorly there and just couldn't shake that off.

He even said in an interview that this is a fresh start for him, so I think he's trying to wipe the slate clean and really impress us.

I think it was more of a case of it just didn't work out at Man U. Here he will get more game time and will be told to play freely because he wont be relied on as much to be creative. I remember some twat on Sky Sports saying he was the worst buy because of the little game time he got for you, but for us he seemed to play his game and he looked a hell of a lot better for that 45 than he ever has for your lot <ok>

I think at £3million these days, its a bargain. At the very worst its hardly anything lost.

I think the whole French link up and the fact that he feels he has a fresh start and something to prove will do him well.

Ive never liked him when ive seen him play for Man Utds first team, but ive watched more of him since signing him and his debut against Arsenal looked promising. His pace will be a great asset.

I reckon he'll have a bigger part to play against Sunderland. Through the middle or on the wing, im not sure about yet.

Looked a good player when he came on against Arsenal and has a load of pace that will come in very useful.

Just as well i didnt get his name printed, went for 16 Carrick instead lol who by the way i think is actually a decent midfielder even though a majority of fans hate em, id take Barton no sweat regardless of him being a nutcase!!

I think it is a good signing. Showed against Arsenal that he has good skills and incredible pace. A bit of confidence and love from the Toon faithful and we could have a bargain on our hands!
