They do buy players and we sell them. Over the last 10 years or so City have actually made money on players they have bought then sold on. It wasn't always like this. Which was probably one the reasons we spent a couple of generations bobbing about at the bottom of the league fighting off closure at the High Court. If you expect a club like City to reinvest every penny made in the transfer market on new players then you must also think the moon is made of green cheese. Its not.
It worked though didn't it? Plenty of clubs have done it to us in the recent past, quite nice to be on the other end for a change
It's not made of green cheese ??? **** that I don't want to be an astronaut now !!! I'll carry on being a fat lazy **** !!!
Not at all. I don't believe we need to spend anything like £25m either, not when there is another transfer window open in January.
Good job, as I doubt we'll be spending more than 10% of it. And I'm rather hoping the current twerp will be gone by the January window.
So you're no longer arguing that City reinvest their transfer fees? If I didn't know better I might think you were just arguing with anything anyone says in opposition of your glorious leader.
Huddlestone always wanted to be back at Derby, he's said that since he left all those years ago, it would have taken some thing special to keep him here.
“To be fair, if Hull had come with that offer three weeks ago before Derby were interested, I would have signed it and happily stayed there.”. That's a funny thing to say when you've just moved clubs, you'd expect him to say he always wanted to return to Derby.
How's it different? It's just 2 different players with 2 different values, the fact is both our 1m and his 20m are starting bids....
You don't know any better and be careful, I think your developing an obsession. I don't recall arguing that city should reinvest their transfer fees either. Not losing your marbles as well are you ?
