That was last season when other players were throwing the ball at him. The conversion rate is less than 1 third for 20 shots. Didn't some use to say Beckford needed a lot of shots to score when he was here....
But it was still the best in the league. I'm not saying definitively that he will repeat that, I couldnt. But we have much more chance of him scoring 20+ goals this season than signing someone else who will score 20+ goals. He's more used to the team, the environment, the fans and he's confident coming off a great season. Another player has to bed in.
