What worries me is,a very good striker in a very good team,gives you a great chance of promotion,however £15 million & an average striker in a good team will not.For me keep wood until at least the end of the season,the rewards would far outway,all those millions in the bank.in other words lets get to the promised land first,before we sell our best assets.

It really depends on what Wood wants. He's just had great season, he might be happy enough here to give it one more year and see if we get promoted. Guess it depends on what wages they're offering.

Can't help feeling something's going on behind scenes LOF, TC wants to bring in another striker, some media are saying possible replacement for Wood, replacement for Wood etc etc. 3 clubs are in for him, all in Prem, like you said, might come down to how much Wood wants the Prem league and prem wages......

Morning all. £15m for Wood? Let's see if Burnley will stretch to £20 or £25m. Would still be disappointing to see him go. But every club has a price for any of their players if the buying club are willing to pay it.
If Burnley offer 20mil + for Wood he will be gone. Of course it will be disappointing but every player now has a price, even Barcelona are a selling club now, apparently.
