Him leaving in January is the least likely IMO. He'll either leave now or buckle down for the year eventually

Agreed, to enable us to progress and continue our journey we have to change our stance at some point. The board are well aware that selling top talent hinders us BUT getting top dollar and replacing well can also be seen as progress. VvD will leave at some point, the replacement will tell you if we have progressed or not.

Isn't going to do anything except risk Virgil losing his place in the Dutch national team you mean?

All this Liverpool nonsense only started because we had that stupid Liverpool lookalike kit a few years ago.

I knew at the time no good would come of it and just look what has happened

I never like that kit. Red shorts, ffs? No, just no.

This season's kit, however, is a thing of beauty...

Whilst I think that the race to win the title will be between the two Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Everton, there are going to be some teams I could see underperforming this season. Spurs relocation to Wembley will be an interesting factor and I am unable to see Poch taking the current squad any further. I feel that Wenger will continue to have an indifferent season with the Europa Cup being the most realistic target. However, I am playing my card now and suggesting that Liverpool will stumble quite spectacularly this season. With Lallana and Sturrridge injured and Coutinho looking increasingly likely to leave, the squad is starting to falter before a ball has been kicked. It will be interesting to see if they can hold on to Coutinho and I think that Mane may attract interest from abroad too.

The usual suspect for first managerial casualty in the premiership is more often than not the Newcastle job and I suppose that lack of funds made available for Rafa may make it more likely that he will walk. That said, I would be intrigued to see what the odds are on Klopp getting the push - I still don't see this team as being good enough to challenge this season and Everton have now acquired a team which is probably better on paper.

I've had a cheeky tenner on it, Klopp's record is no better than the last great Scouse messiah, old shark face and it's only a matter of time before he goes the same way.

Yeah but all it takes is for one other manager to #meltdown even a few hours sooner and your money is dead

He's been there since 2015, not won anything and only just scraped them into the CL thanks to Mane. For a club with their ambition you would think they would expect a bit more than this. He's been average so far.
